
Pooley Bridge is ideally situated in the Lake District, at the head of Ullswater, yet also within easy reach of Hadrian's Wall and the Pennines.
Travelling north or south on the M6 leave the motorway at Junction 40 and travel east for one mile on A66 signed Penrith/Brough. At the next roundabout take 4th exit left signed A6 Shap into Eamont Bridge and at mini roundabout turn right onto B5320. Stay on this road passing through Tirril village, continuing a further 2 miles to Pooley Bridge.
